CAPM® Boot Camp: your first credential, your strongest start.
The Certified Associate in Project Management is the entry point. No experience required, so it is the credential you can earn right now while you build toward PMP.
Built to get you credentialed and moving.
New project managers, recent grads, and motivated junior professionals who lead taskers and small efforts but cannot yet document years of project leadership. CAPM proves the fundamentals and puts a recognized credential behind your name while your experience catches up.
CAPM has a low bar by design. You need:
- A secondary education (high school diploma, GED, or the global equivalent)
- 23 hours of project management education, which this boot camp provides
No project experience is required. That is what makes CAPM the ideal starting point, and a clean bridge to PMP later.
Everything you need to walk in ready.
- The full 23 contact-hour certificate that meets CAPM's education requirement
- Live cohort instruction in a small group, led by a PMI-credentialed practitioner
- Real CAPM practice questions and a clear plan for your exam date
- PMI eligibility application support
- Audit response if PMI selects your application
- Direct support all the way through your exam
What test day looks like.
- Format: 150 questions over 3 hours, delivered by Pearson VUE (on-base testing centers available for military members)
- Exam fee: $225 for PMI members, $300 for non-members, paid to PMI and separate from your tuition
- Retake support: if you do not pass the first time, we get you ready to go again
CAPM is fundable through AF COOL (Air Force and Space Force), Army CA, and your unit's GPC, and the GI Bill reimburses the exam fee. AF COOL and Army CA pay us directly, so nothing comes out of pocket. See the Funding page for the step-by-step.
Most CAPM holders move on to the PMP once they have a few years of project experience. Working in agile, cyber, or software? Look at the PMI-ACP. Not sure what fits? Tell us where you are and we will map it out.
Get credentialed and moving.
Enroll in the next CAPM cohort, or compare all four certifications side by side to be sure.
