Army Credentialing Assistance pays up to $2,000 per certification through ArmyIgnitED, with the Army paying the vendor directly. We are completing approval to accept it. Here is how it will work, so you can get ready now.

Who qualifies

Active, Guard, and Reserve Soldiers with an ArmyIgnitED account. Army CA funds up to $2,000 per certification, with limits of one certification per fiscal year and three per ten years, and you must take and pass the exam.

Step by step

Six steps through ArmyIgnitED.

  1. Set up your ArmyIgnitED account

    Create and verify your account so you are ready to submit when funding opens.

  2. Get your invoice from us

    Once we are an approved vendor, request a course invoice. Army CA allows one item per invoice, so we will scope it correctly for your submission.

  3. Meet your education counselor

    Complete the credentialing-assistance briefing, the MilGears assessment, and CA 101 training at your education center.

  4. Submit in ArmyIgnitED

    Upload your Statement of Understanding, the invoice, and any orders, then monitor your request for processing and approval.

  5. Get funded and start class

    The Army pays the vendor directly. We send your welcome details and registration instructions, and you begin your boot camp.

  6. Test and report

    Follow your study plan, upload your certificate of completion to ArmyIgnitED, take the exam, then upload your credential proof to close it out.
